OIL MANAGEMENT SERVICES LIMITED
- Capability Statement -

Background

Oil Management Services (OMS) was established in 1985 to provide management and administration services to the Energy and Natural Resources Industries. Although originally targeted at the proliferation of small upstream companies, mostly based in North America, it rapidly developed a UK clientele. In 1986 OMS was asked to establish the United Kingdom Onshore Operators Group, comprising the UK's upstream onshore oil and gas companies, which it continues to manage. This activity led to the provision of management and other support services to a portfolio of oil and mining companies and to an expanding range of associations serving these industries, including the UK Onshore Geophysical Library and the Gas Forum.  OMS has also developed a key advisory role to governments and to the international petroleum companies in North Africa.

Clients

Today, OMS and its affiliates provide management and administration services to clients including several public companies, two with London Stock Exchange listings, several industry associations, and a wide variety of smaller companies in the UK and overseas. The industry associations administered by OMS comprise virtually every significant participant in the relevant industries.
